NEBOSH IGC FAQ's
How long do I have to complete the NEBOSH IGC?
The course requires 65 taught hours and 40 self-study hours. Learners have 5 years to pass both assessments, during which they can re-sit exams to clear a unit or improve their scores in IG1.
How should I prepare for the open-book exam?
Learners should review the course material thoroughly and ensure they understand the key topics. This will help them analyse and answer the scenario-based questions presented in the exam.
What happens if I fail one of the units?
Learners can re-sit an exam if they fail a unit. IG1 results are score-based, while IG2 results will be either “pass” or “refer.” Learners can re-sit IG1 to improve their scores.
Can I use reference materials during the open-book exam?
Learners can use course materials and online resources as references during the exam. However, the questions will be scenario-based, and copying content directly from resources will result in failure.
How long does it take to get the NEBOSH IGC results?
Results for the assessments will be sent to the learner’s email within 50 working days from the day of the examination.
