Basic First Aid training is a practical, scenario-driven course that train employees to act as first responders until professional help arrives. Participants will learn how to assess a scene safely, perform a rapid casualty check, and stabilize common workplace emergencies across shop floors, project sites, warehouses, and offices. It emphasizes calm decision making, personal protection, and clear communication so that early actions reduce severity, downtime, and anxiety for everyone involved in and around.

It encompasses CPR with its application, shock management, fractures/sprains and safe immobilization, burns, eye injuries, heat stress and dehydration, seizures/fainting, poisoning, electrical contact, and common bites/stings (including snakes) relevant to Indian worksites. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and simple checklists, participants build muscle memory and learn how to document incidents and hand over to emergency services.

Training Objective

Participants will stabilize common injuries (suspected fractures/sprains, burns, chemical/eye injuries, heat illness, electrical contact) while maintaining personal protection and infection control, then document the incident, hand over to medical services effectively, and support readiness through routine checks of first-aid kits and AEDs.
