Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Safety function to develop Health and Safety (H&S) procedures that are compliant with legal and statutory requirements.
- Track and analyze compliances across the Company in line with the H&S Process for Stores, Distribution Centres (DCs) and Offices.
- Analyze accidents to determine root causes and initiate company-wide actions to prevent occurrences in future.
- Proactively analyze possible safety failures that could occur and initiate steps to de risk the Company from such occurrences.
- Ensure safety priorities identified are executed well.
- Support the Safety function in all safety initiatives drive, safety awareness and communication.
- Conduct H&S compliances through periodic audits at sites and analyze trends to initiate corrective steps to constantly enhance the safety standards.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment at all Locations (Stores, DCs and Offices).
- Support in developing safety and health training modules for skill building of various employee segments.
- Coordinate and conduct various Health and safety trainings for Stores, DCs and SO.

Roles and Responsibility:
- Collaborate with site lead, operation & maintenance for EHS data reporting.
- Site safety observation tour on a daily basis and share the report with the site team for closures.
- Ensure timely closure of site safety observations.

- Prepare the minutes of meeting and share with the site team & Central
- Conduct monthly EHS audits

- Collaborate with the central team and conduct accident/incident reporting, investigation and CAPA as per the approved incident reporting and investigation process.
- Ensure the facility team is maintaining basic required facilities and maintaining the parameters.
- Partner with the facility team to ensure timely capturing of energy, waste & water data.
- Conducting the EHS training(s) to the warehouse employees as per the approved annual training calendar and capturing the attendance (Safety Awareness training(s) will be prepared by site EHS executive and Process related safety training material & PPT will be shared by Central SPOC).
- Take safety initiatives and improve site safety conditions.
- Encourage the workforce to participate in safety promotional activities.
- Monitoring regulatory compliances and reporting to immediate Line Manager on the status.
- Assisting site team to develop SOPs, Safety DOs & Don'ts in case of any site-level changes required for business excellence.

Roles and Responsibility: Ensure Training Effectiveness is Improved and take end to end responsibility to meet Organization Safety Training needs are met.
- To train customer's employees on the required safety training programs and other safety training as necessary.
- To deliver training to meet course objectives to the best of your ability and competence using a variety of teaching methods.
- Provides expertise on Safety training requirements based on customer account.
- Conduct trainings – Classroom, Practical/ On Job training (OJT) and Small Group Activity (SGA) based learning on Safety.
- Ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative and engaging H &S courses that meet all required aspects of the employees learning needs.

Requirements :
- Engineering Degree (4 years) in any specialization

- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Health and Safety preferably in a cement industry or in many manufacturing / process industry background.
- Prior experience in training delivery with Train the trainer
- Preferred knowledge includes familiarity with the Indian Factories Act,1948 and international standards such as ANSI, NFPA, and other non-regulatory safety codes and standards.
- Team facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings. Must be a strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints, and manage shifting priorities.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite required and prepare maintain update in a DASHBOARD

Job Description & Summary

Mission Statement

Your background

- 10-12 years of experience working in the HSE field (preferably in the substation business).
