Training Objective
The objective of this Fire Fighting Safety Training is to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills required to effectively respond to fire emergencies in the workplace. The training aims to develop an understanding of fire science, including the fire triangle and the various classes of fires (Class A, B, C, D, and F), enabling participants to accurately identify fire hazards and select the correct type of fire extinguisher. Participants will be trained to confidently operate fire fighting equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, and fire blankets using standardized techniques like PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep). The course will also cover emergency evacuation procedures, alarm response, and muster point protocols to ensure orderly evacuation and accountability during a fire event. Emphasis will be placed on early-stage firefighting tactics, allowing participants to manage incipient fires without endangering themselves. In addition to reactive measures, the training promotes proactive fire prevention strategies such as proper storage of flammable materials, electrical safety, and housekeeping practices. Ultimately, the goal is to foster a safety-first mindset among participants, empowering them to play an active role in maintaining a fire-safe environment across industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
