What is NEBOSH Open Book Exam?
Keeping safety as a priority during the COVID-19 Pandemic, NEBOSH introduced the First ever pattern of Open Book Exam for the NEBOSH IGC course. This exam pattern involves remote & online assessments where the learner can write the exam right from their home. The learner will be given 24hrs to complete the NEBOSH Open Book Exam during which the study material / online resource can be accessed. The exam will include scenario-based questions for which the learner is expected to extract the answer from the given resource. After the NEBOSH Open Book Exam, a closing interview will be conducted by an interviewer from the institute. Based on the NEBOSH Open Book Exam, learners will be interrogated.

Unit IG1
- Assessment will be done through Open book Exam
- 24hrs will be allocated for completing the open book exam

- A Closing Interview will be conducted by an Interviewer
- Minimum pass standard: 45 marks
Unit IG2
- Practical Assessment
- Submissions - electronic only.
- Results will be notified as either ‘Pass’ or ‘Refer’
Certification is awarded to the candidates who achieve a minimum of “PASS” standard in both IG1 and IG2
