NIST successfully participated in South Asia’s largest OSH India Event-2019
South Asia’s largest OSH India Expo is a platform where a wide range of safety inventions meets expertise. Every year, prominent safety professionals and business experts of the OHS industry meet, connect, and discuss best safety practices with the OHS community. The 2-day event was held on 28-29 November 2019 and NIST- India’s First NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner marked its 6th formidable presence at the event.
The OSH India Expo-2019 ended successfully and this year, the event attracted over 150 Exhibitors and 180 brands. The event featured numerous inspiring presentations, thought-provoking conference seminars by prominent safety experts and interesting stall displays. The participants were subjected to a wide range of attention-grabbing seminars and panel discussions on various topics and diverse health & safety concepts.
NIST’s 6th Successful Participation in OSH India
NIST's primary objective is to create awareness, impart knowledge among the OHS community and enhance the skill-set of all the individuals spread globally. On that note, in the exhibition, NIST emphasized safe driving practices through the Defensive Driving product showcased at the stall and we also had a women caricature to inspire more women to choose HSE as a career and become a proud safety professional.
With such highlights, our stall attracted more than 500 visitors. The visitors were highly interested to discuss our latest safety solutions and showed their active involvement in exploring more about our diversified health & safety concerns. We were also open to new safety inventions and services at the OSH India Expo.
Mr. Antony Selvaraj– Chairman & Managing Director & Ms. Priscilla Arulsamy– Director of Operations, marked their presence by visiting our stall B64 & Mr. Lawrence Andoni Raj– Director of CCS accompanied the NIST team on both the days of the event to discuss probable ways in which our safety products & services can benefit the visitors. NIST team did an excellent task of educating the stall visitors with great passion and active participation. Our stall visitors expressed their fullest satisfaction with our safety products and services by taking pictures with our products and sharing on their social media platforms.
Edifying Seminar Deliverance by Mr. Robert Chettiar – DGM of NIST
Our DGM- Mr. Robert Chettiar delivered inspiring seminars on 28th & 29th November. On Day-1, the safety professionals from various sectors gathered to hear him talk about ‘Safety Leadership- A key to transforming safety culture & improving safety performance’. The key to enhancing employee leadership skills and diverse strategies to raise safety standards & elicit change in the organization was emphasized during the vibrant seminar.
On Day-2, Mr. Robert delivered a motivational seminar on ‘Making a career in Environment, Health, and Safety’. He highlighted the demand for safety professionals when it comes to employment and how an HSE qualified professional can add value to the company & contribute safety services for the betterment of the workplace. On the same day, he addressed 200+ safety professionals & aspirants at the conference hall, making a quick review of the two-day event.
