The 2019 NEBOSH Learning Provider Conference was held at Shangri-La’s-Eros Hotel, New Delhi on 25th November 2019. The conference gave the gathered safety course providers an opportunity to meet & interact with NEBOSH officials & key speakers: Chief Executive – Ian Taylor, Director of Relationship Management – Stuart Naylor, & Qualification Development Manager – Matthew Powell-Howard. Mr. Damian Hampson – International Business Development Executive, NEBOSH well-coordinated the conference along with other NEBOSH management officials & ensured that the meet was a great success.

Conferences are platforms that bring together people from different geographical areas who share common discipline. NIST– India’s first NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner was also a part of the NEBOSH Learning Provider Conference-2019. Mr. Antony Selvaraj– Chairman & Managing Director and Ms. Priscilla Arulsamy– Director of Operations made their presence at the conference and interacted with the NEBOSH officials.

They further discussed various strategies to provide NEBOSH safety courses in a better, useful and interesting way. The conference featured numerous safety course providers across the globe who gathered and conferred NEBOSH’s 3-year strategy plan of implementing the 6 learning principles innovatively.

Highlights of the Conference

During the conference, the revamped NEBOSH IGC syllabus and its highlights were discussed in detail. Live demonstrations of various Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality techniques in the newly launched Safety Simplified course were presented during the session. The event also had a one-one session with key people, where the tools & skills needed to enhance the safety standards were discussed.

However, NIST proudly being India’s First NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner has adhered to the learning principles and holds the record of having successfully trained 800+ NEBOSH batches. To retain the gold learning partner status and the need for other learning partners to compete and attain the same was also emphasized by the NEBOSH officials.

The objective of the conference was to enhance the course provider standards so that the safety challenges and opportunities in training aspirants & safety professionals are successfully supported. Together, the conference was highly engaging, valuable, and very informative!
