April 1, 2025 - NIST Global Pvt Ltd celebrated its 17th Foundation Day at The Accord Metropolitan, Chennai. The venue hosted an All-India Team Meet to incorporate the celebration and gather employees from various locations across India. The celebration marked the journey of NIST Global from its modest beginnings in 2008 to its current position as a frontrunner in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) services in India.
The day began with the Welcome Address and was followed by Rev. Father Peter Thumma’s Purpose Driven Life keynote which sparked a reflective mood for the rest of the day. NIST Global’s legacy video highlighted the company’s achievements and resources over its 17 years of existence, focusing on the milestones and commitments made to transform the culture of workplace safety in the country.
NIST Global Commemorates 17 Years of Safety Excellence Across India
Along with Mr. Antony Selvaraj (Chairman & MD) and Mr. Lawrence Andoni Raj (Director - CCS), other members of leadership shared their thoughts and messages on the company’s growth, partnership with clients, and strategy for the future during the session. A special tribute by Mr. Robert Chettiar furthered emphasized the important values which NIST thrives on and highlighting the factors for the company’s success.
A poignant instance of the event was the Employee Recognition Ceremony conducted by Ms. Priscilla Arulsamy (Director – Operations). This ceremony paid tribute to the members of the team who have stayed with the organization for a long time and whose loyalty and effort have been instrumental in NIST’s growth. Heads of Department honored directors and senior leaders as a sign of appreciation and respect towards each other.
The celebration ended with a vote of thanks, a group photograph, ceremonial cutting of the cake, and a lunch meant for networking. It forged indelible memories of collective pride, unity, and purpose.
Currently, NIST Global has over 78 employees and 30 consultants. They, along with the other stakeholders, continue to lead the organization with a strong emphasis on integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach. The 17th Foundation Day was not only a celebration of achievement but also a pledge towards a safer and more empowered future.
