OSH INDIA 2018 Mumbai – NIST Participation & Happenings
Expos are big-scale events, which bring counterparts together to showcase their products & services, share innovative ideas and find solutions for challenges. As like any industry, the dignitaries and professionals of the OHS industry gather together in a single roof every year to demonstrate their products and services to the OHS community and the public. This year, Mumbai hosted South Asia’s largest Occupational Health and Safety Expo, OSH INDIA 2018 on 29th & 30th Nov 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The two-day event was fully packed with thought-provoking presentations by HSE experts, panel discussions and internetworking sessions. As a matter of fact, more than 120 exhibitors and around 10,000 professionals have participated in this event. Under one roof, the participants were able to attend number of seminars and panel discussions on various topics such as the Future of Work & Risk, Legislations, Best Safety Practices, Safety Standards, Fire Safety & Chemical Safety and many more.

NIST, the premier HSE service provider in India, actively participate in this kind of international events to showcase our products & services along with an eager to meet our alumni & clients at a common point. Our Directors, Mr.Antony Selvaraj & Mr.Lawrence Andoni Raj participated in the event to lead our team at a stall E#38 in the Expo. Along with our directors, NIST team was attending to the visitors with great enthusiasm and active involvement. Stall visitors have expressed their satisfaction about our hospitality while leaving the stall even though it was only a short-time interaction. Energy of our team is extra-ordinary!!!
Stimulating presentation by our DGM
The highlight for NIST is that our DGM (Client & Customer Synergy), Mr.Robert Chettiar made an inspiring technical presentation on ‘Reducing error and influencing behaviour’ in day-01 conference. During his speech, he insisted to the audience about significance of Work Culture, Worker’s Psychology and role of management towards establishing a safety culture in organisations. The presentation was greatly admired and got a big applause among the potential audience. It was a scintillating knowledge transmission.
Honor for Mr.Sooraj, NISTian by NEBOSH & NIST
One more delightful event for NIST is that our alumnus Mr.Sooraj Jacob was honored by our Directors and by Mr.Stuart Naylor, Director of Relationship Management - NEBOSH & Mr.Damian Hampson , International Business Development Executive - NEBOSH at the event. Obviously, it was a proud moment for NIST for having produced candidate’s like Mr. Sooraj who is a global topper in IGC examinations. It’s a fantastic achievement indeed!!!
