NIST Part Took in 2nd Annual HSE Strategic Summit India 2018

A Health and Safety Environment can only bring about a better productivity and efficiency which means a better business. Safety does not take place all of a sudden. A keen hard work, an uncompromising commitment towards safety maintenance, continual monitoring and persistent assessing are all what required to keep up the Health Safety and Environment excellence at heights.

Did you know! Only 15.8% of the work force is employed in the organized sector in India. Health and Safety of Workers is the most chief thing that HSE matters about. Thus to improvise the Principles of Health Safety and Environment of the Workforces, HSE Conference in India takes place since the preceding year.

The second annual HSE Strategy Summit India 2018 took place on 15th-16th March 2018 at Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport. The major aspect of this conference is to implement a set of Framework to ensure safety at workplace. The discussion includes sharing strategies, regulatory updates, innovation and technological advancements in Health Safety and Environment field.

NIST part took in the event, where our Director Mr. Lawrence, and Robert Chettiar have participated in the second annual HSE Strategy Summit 2018 representing NIST. The Day 1 session began discussing on Leadership Commitment for transforming HSE Culture. The post lunch panel discussion includes the Present and Futuristic Health and Safety Challenges in India. The following Day entailed panel discussions on Process Safety and Risk Management and on Environmental issues from Health and Safety Perspective; and concluded with the round table conference discussing about current trends and strategies to be implemented where each participants shared their views and insights. Our team had a great time participating in this Strategy Summit.
