NIST crossed a new mile stone on 16th Nov, 2016, by successfully training the 50th batch of Health and Safety at Work (HSW) course, in Chennai. NEBOSH HSW course is the primary level of NEBOSH that gives a strong foundation on health and safety culture to anyone who is willing to take up a safety related career. HSW qualification is a 3 day course that trains individuals on the basic principles of health and safety at workplace. The training sessions are handled by experts who clearly understand the concepts of health and safety at work. This course can be taken up by anyone who wishes to pursue a career in safety field and is highly essential for safety professionals who wish to enhance their career by gaining more awareness about health and safety. The knowledge gained through the course helps professionals to identify common hazards in work places and eliminate them by performing risk assessment and taking control measures.

The training session of 50th HSW batch in NIST - Chennai branch, commenced on 14th November with a good number of candidates celebrating the inception of the 50th batch by cutting cake and distributing sweets. NIST has trained plenty of candidates and professionals in NEBOSH HSW, ever since the delivery of the course in Nov, 2015.
