Lukoil's Filanovsky Field

Our Offshore Oil & Gas focus continues unabated. NIST finally made its presence felt in Caspian Sea delivering training modules for one of the offshore client, Bumi Armada. Derrick Lay Barge Armada Installer remains flagship vessel of Bumi Armada and has been operating in Caspian Sea since commissioning. NIST launched a dedicated 2 months training program onboard DLB Armada Installer whilst she continued to lay 80 Kms subsea pipelines for Lukoil project at Filanovsky's Oil Field in Russia. This Field HSE Training was designed for the DLB crew at the offshore location in real time scenario for better understanding and acceptance. NIST designed 19 HSE modules keeping client's offshore requirements, scope of work and Company's HSE Plans. Modules successfully delivered were Project Induction, HSE Awareness, Work At Height, Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Tool Box Talk, Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment, Chemical Handling, Electrical Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Rigging, Slinging & Banksman, Drug & Alcohol, Oil Spill Prevention & Control, Eye Safety and so on. Total 240 personnel were present onboard vessel from 16 different nationalities and majority being from CIS countries. Therefore for better understanding, NIST delivered training not only in English but also in Russian language and this was very much appreciated by the crew from Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Croatia and Bulgaria. NIST flagged off this training mission from Turkmenistan to Russia and next leg of training begins from South Africa to Nigeria. Our drive towards establishing ourselves internationally has been successful thereby making NIST as leading training provider in Offshore Oil & Gas sector.
